Priner presents innovative solutions for pavement and underground network rehabilitation at the PAVI+ Workshop

Priner was present at the Workshop on Solutions for Concrete Pavement Restoration, promoted by PAVI+, the pavement community of ABCP (Brazilian Portland Cement Association).

During the event, two solutions that are transforming the way the market addresses challenges in soil and underground networks were presented: Priner Soil Injection (PSI) and Priner Pipe Repair (PPR).

These technologies demonstrate how it is possible to combine technical efficiency, low operational impact, and fast execution—decisive factors in pavement projects, highways, industrial yards, and high-movement urban areas.

PSI Solution

The Priner Soil Injection (PSI) system drew the audience’s attention due to its ability to correct settlements and pavement depressions without the need for excavations or long shutdowns. The technique consists of the controlled injection of an expansive resin into the soil beneath the pavement, which compacts, stabilizes, and seals the foundation layers.

During the presentation, case studies were shown involving applications on concrete highways and industrial yards, where the solution enabled pavement leveling within hours, avoiding complete reconstruction and reducing costs.

Key advantages highlighted:

  • Correction of unevenness and settlements with millimetric precision
  • Fast intervention, with no need for demolition
  • Eco-friendly, stable material resistant to water
  • Significant reduction in operational downtime

The audience could see how PSI technology addresses the root cause of the problem, stabilizing the soil and extending pavement lifespan—an intelligent and sustainable alternative to traditional construction methods.

PPR Solution

Another solution presented was Priner Pipe Repair (PPR), designed for rehabilitating underground pipe networks using trenchless techniques. The methodology, known as Cured-in-Place Pipe (CIPP), allows old or damaged pipes to be internally lined, forming a new pipe inside the existing one, all without excavation or traffic interruption.

Examples were shared involving drainage networks and galleries beneath concrete and asphalt pavements, where PPR eliminated infiltration issues and reinforced compromised structures.

Most notable benefits:

  • Reduced costs and timelines compared to conventional methods
  • Lower environmental and urban impact, with no open trenches
  • Structural reinforcement that extends the lifespan of pipelines
  • Versatile application across various diameters and pipe types

This solution was highlighted as ideal for urban, highway, and industrial maintenance in locations where deep interventions are unfeasible or would cause major disruptions.

Commitment to Innovation

Throughout the event, Priner reinforced its position as a reference in industrial engineering and infrastructure, presenting technologies that combine operational efficiency, safety, and sustainability.

The PSI and PPR solutions show that it is possible to modernize and preserve existing infrastructure with less environmental impact and greater productivity, contributing to a smarter and more sustainable future for the pavement sector.
