NDT – Non-Destructive Testing

Strain Measurement (Extensometry)

Extensometry is a safe, reliable and fast technique for measuring mechanical strain and stress in a wide range of materials, components and equipment.

This method plays a crucial role in several applications, including product development, durability testing, failure mechanism investigation, load testing and structural analysis.

At Priner, we use both resistive and optical strain gauges, suitable for applications at temperatures up to 300 °C. Our systems support both wired and wireless data transmission, enabling instantaneous readings as well as long-term or even continuous monitoring.
