FFS – Fitness For Service

At Priner, we apply advanced methodologies such as finite element analysis and fracture mechanics to assess the structural integrity of equipment in operation. Our evaluations follow technical standards for analyzing wall loss, cracks and other types of damage or defects.

We use API 579 and BS 7910 standards to determine whether a component can safely remain in service — even with existing flaws — or if it requires repair or replacement. This ensures asset reliability, optimizes maintenance costs and enhances operational safety.
