Cold Thermal Insulation
Cold thermal insulation primarily aims to minimize heat exchange between the ambient temperature and the operating temperature.
Fixed Conventional Insulation
-268°C to +482°C (-482.8ºF to 899.6ºF)
Our insulating materials include Foam Glass, Polyurethane (PU), Aerogel (Cryogel/Pyrogel), and Elastomeric Foam.
These solutions are designed to operate within a thermal range that can reach as low as -268°C (-482.8ºF), depending on the process requirements. The materials used feature low thermal conductivity, high moisture resistance and excellent dimensional stability, even under extreme temperatures.
Combined with appropriate sealing and cladding systems, cold insulation ensures efficient thermal control, prevents operational losses and extends asset lifespan.
Removable and Reusable Insulation
0°C to 15°C (32ºF to 59ºF)
Our projects are fully customized, taking into account potential interferences and conditions that facilitate daily application, as well as dimensioning to meet specific performance criteria.
Although condensation is an inherent condition in low-temperature lines, it is possible to develop a solution scope based on the principles of ISO 12241, which guides the dimensioning under static conditions.
The use of removable covers in such scopes allows for the integration of drains to direct condensate between piping and insulation, enabling inspection for CUI (Corrosion Under Insulation) and maintenance activities without damaging the insulation.
